Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic met in Luanda today with President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo and underlined on this occasion that in international relations Serbia remains consistently committed to UN principles, on which the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries was once born, and that today it successfully restores and builds relations with African countries.

Informing Embalo about the situation with the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the position of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, Selakovic underlined that Serbia is committed to peace and stability in the region and a compromise and mutually acceptable agreement.
Selakovic learned about the circumstances in Guinea-Bissau and expressed a desire for the improvement of relations of Serbia with that state.
He presented economic indicators about Serbia and underlined that our country is ready to share its experiences with the countries and peoples of Africa in the fields such as agriculture, infrastructure, education and that it wants to build relations with its African friends and partners based on mutual support, respect and understanding.
