Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović pointed out today the importance of successful cooperation with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in areas of key importance for reform processes and the improvement of Serbian citizens’ quality of life, particularly in the context of accession negotiations with the European Union.

In a conversation with UNOPS Deputy Executive Director Kirstine Damkjær, Starović emphasised that a strong partnership with international organisations, such as this one, is an important pillar in the process of European integration and comprehensive reforms that Serbia is implementing.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the results and impact of projects that UNOPS is implementing in Serbia in cooperation with domestic institutions.
On this occasion, it was emphasised that UNOPS has been present in Serbia for 25 years, with the last 15 years marked by intensive work on numerous projects, both in Serbia and across the region.
