Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović emphasised today, in a meeting with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, that membership in the European Union is Serbia’s strategic foreign policy goal.
At a meeting held on the sidelines of the summit of Western Balkan leaders and representatives of the European Commission, Starović said that Serbia is committed to this goal and is shaping its internal Reform Agenda in accordance with it.
He pointed out that the Government of Serbia is using the Reform Agenda as a mechanism for implementing key reforms, strengthening administrative capacities and, most importantly, achieving concrete and measurable results.
These results, along with the imminent opening of Cluster 3, should contribute to a better understanding of the concrete benefits of progress in the European integration process, the Minister concluded.
