Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today began her tour of Kosovo and Metohija with a visit to the first multimedia centre in Kosovska Mitrovica.
On that occasion, Brnabic expressed her immense pleasure and great honour to be in Kosovo and Metohija today and underlined that she wants to send a clear and simple message - a message of peace, stability and tolerance.
We will always be with our people in Kosovo and Metohija, especially considering that Kosovo and Metohija is in a difficult and complex situation. It is especially important to me that I am visiting this province at this difficult time, but I am proud because we have preserved peace. The interest of all of us is peace and stability. We have invested more in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija in the last 5 years than over the past 40 years, and this building where we are now shows everything, said Brnabic.
According to her, it is especially important that, with the support of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, a centre for the education of children related to IT technologies was created.
We want families to stay here, prosper and have a continuous increase in wages and pensions. Today's message is peace, stability and tolerance and that is the only future for all of us. We will be with our people, and I am especially glad that I am here and we continue to fight with the help and support of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said the Prime Minister.
Brnabic also visited the Banjska monastery in the municipality of Zvecan, where she said that she will ensure that funds are provided for the renovation of the facade of the monastery, which is in a very bad condition, noting that the state invested €620,000 in the reconstruction of the interior of this building alone.
The Prime Minister reiterated that Belgrade is doing its best to make the people of Kosovo and Metohija feel the presence of the state and know that the state will always stand by them.
Brnabic also visited the municipality of Leposavic, where she handed over the keys to a new house, built with the funds of the government of Serbia, to the socially vulnerable Radosavljevic family.
In Leposavic, the Prime Minister visited a family farm, and with this visit she wrapped up her visit to Kosovo and Metohija.
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic and Director of the Office for IT and eGovernment Mihailo Jovanovic visited the southern Serbian province together with the Prime Minister.
