In the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia today, the mandates of the new MPs who were elected in the parliamentary elections on 3 April were confirmed, thus constituting a new convocation of the parliament.

In the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia today, the mandates of the new MPs who were elected in the parliamentary elections on 3 April were confirmed, thus constituting a new convocation of the parliament.
After the verification of the mandates, the deputies took the oath.
The new convocation of the parliament consists of 250 deputies from 11 electoral lists.
The session, which began at around 10 am with the anthem "God of Justice", was presided over by the oldest member of parliament Vladeta Jankovic, and the four youngest members of parliament from the four top-ranked lists participated in leading the session.
The session was attended by 234 deputies, as well as members of the Election Commission, headed by President Vladimir Dimitrijevic.
The Assembly has finished its work for today, and tomorrow the agenda will include the election of the National Assembly Chair, Vice Chairs, the appointment of the Secretary General, as well as the election of members of working bodies and members of permanent parliamentary delegations in international institutions and organisations.
