Dragisa Okolisanov
At a press conference Okolisanov said that the agency will create a single, central data base and become the only institution authorised for issuing new registration documents. The pre-registration will be free of charge.
According to Okolisanov, for pre-registration private entrepreneurs will need to submit an application form and the most recent certificate of the setting-up of the company, while new entrepreneurs will need an application form, a copy of a personal identification card and 540 dinars registration fee. In certain cases, a written consent of proper authorities will also be needed.
Okolisanov said that this year's ten thousandth new entrepreneur will be registered in Serbia in a couple of days, and recalled that the total number of new registered entrepreneurs in 2004 was 6,329.
According to Okolisanov, more than 69,500 business entities have been put down in the Register of Business Entities this year, and the one hundred thousandth application has been submitted yesterday in Nis.
After the process of re-registration, the Serbian Business Registers Agency will be the only one in charge of issuing decisions on registration. The procedure will be carried out within five days from the day of submitting the application, which is much sooner than before.
The first contracts on the opening of offices for the re-registration of private entrepreneurs have already been signed in 30 municipalities in Serbia, and the new ones with the rest of the municipalities will be signed shortly, said Okolisanov and announced that the complete documentation will be transferred to the Agency's electronic database.
