In a Coordinating Centre statement, it is said that during this three-day visit Raskovic-Ivic will meet with Political Director in the German Foreign Ministry Michael Scheffer, State Secretary of the German Foreign Ministry Klaus Scharioth and other officials and advisors in the German Foreign Ministry
Raskovic-Ivic will also meet with members of the German parliament and leaders of parliamentary groups that work on the cooperation with Serbia-Montenegro and other Western Balkans countries.
Raskovic-Ivic will give two lectures – to members of the expert board for international politics of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) and to MPs of all fractions of the German Bundestag concerned with the Balkans. She will also speak at the renowned German Institute for Science and Politics.
The head of the Coordinating Centre will meet with Hans-Dietrich Lucas, head of the department for southeastern Europe in the cabinet of the new German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
At the start of the visit, Raskovic-Ivic will meet with selected German journalists at a press conference organised by the Koerber Foundation, while the closing event of the visit will be a meeting with Serbia-Montenegrin journalists who are accredited correspondents from Germany, reads the Coordinating Centre’s statement.
