At the Intergovernmental conference on the accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union (EU) held in Brussels today, cluster 4 has been opened.
Cluster 4 – Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity, consists of four chapters: Chapter 14 – Transport Policy, Chapter 15 - Energy, Chapter 21 - Trans-European Networks and Chapter 27 - Environment and Climate Change.
Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic take part in the work of the Intergovernmental conference.
After the meeting, Brnabic and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will give statements to the press.
Before the conference, the delegation of Serbia met with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi.
Serbia has so far opened 22 chapters in the negotiations with the EU, of which two have been temporarily closed.
There are a total of 33 chapters, divided into six clusters, as part of Serbia’s accession negotiations with the EU.
