In a statement to the news agency Beta, Loncar said that the temporary release of Pavkovic is new proof of the successful cooperation of the Serbian government with the Hague tribunal, which is being realised according to a model of two-way cooperation.
Loncar recalled that Pavkovic is the 12th Hague indictee who, in the previous few months, with the Serbian government’s guarantees, has been released pending trial. Loncar expressed expectation that cooperation with the tribunal will be concluded, and Serbia’s obligations towards it completely fulfilled.
