Expo 2020 Dubai opportunity to attract new investments to Serbia

At the First Investment Conference, within the World Exhibition in Dubai (Expo 2020 Dubai), Momirovic pointed out that Serbia has doubled the scope of construction in the last five years and is among the top ten countries in the world in terms of the speed of issuing construction permits.
The Minister pointed out that Serbia is the first European country in terms of the number of kilometres of highways it is building, with historically high, balanced growth in all construction sub-sectors.
He pointed out that the government of Serbia has invested large funds in the construction of transport infrastructure in order to connect cities in Serbia and thus significantly contribute to the development of the real estate market in Belgrade and Novi Sad, as well as in Nis, Kragujevac and other cities.
Today, Serbia is a country in which twice as many kilometres of highways are being built than in all the surrounding countries, and there are also investments in high-speed railways, reconstruction of railways and ports, the Minister emphasized.
According to the Minister, the World Exhibition in Dubai is a great opportunity to talk to new investors in order to further encourage investments and the growth of our standard and reach the desired average salary of €1,000 in the next five years.
