Vojvodinaput-Backaput sale contract signed

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that three days ago, its representatives signed a sale contract with representatives of PZP Nis from Nis. The contract concerns the sale of 70 percent of the socially owned capital of Vojvodinaput-Backaput from Novi Sad.
The purchase price was €10.111 million, with an investment programme worth €5.102 million, and the buyer also unconditionally accepted the minimum obligations from the company’s social welfare programme as well as an array of other obligations, reads the statement.
At the tender for the sale of Vojvodinaput-Backaput, called on March 24, 2005, offers were submitted by the Nis-based PZP Nis, Alpine Mayreder GmbH and Austria’s Strabag.
At the commission’s second meeting, the results of the negotiations were accepted and the tender commission adopted the tender list according to which PZP Nis was declared the first ranked bidder, concludes the statement.
