Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali stated today that the first part of the guarantee scheme of the American Development Agency (DFC), worth $400 million, will most likely be available to our companies by the end of the year.
In a statement for the Tanjug agency, Mali explained that the state is now in the final talks about the big agreement that should be signed with DFC, and immediately after that, individual signing with commercial banks will follow.
According to him, it is expected that by the end of the year, we will have $400 million of their guarantee scheme available to micro, small and medium enterprises under very favorable conditions for working capital and liquidity, but also for investments.
The confirmation of the new administration is that they are completely committed to this program, both for our country and for the entire region, the Minister reiterated and noted that the implementation was slowed down by the coronavirus pandemic.
The presence of DFC is of great importance for the credibility of our country, but also for the growth and development of our small, medium and large companies, concluded Mali.
