President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar visited today the final works on the reconstruction and construction of the Clinical Centre of Serbia, which should be completed by December.

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar visited today the final works on the reconstruction and construction of the Clinical Centre of Serbia, which should be completed by December.
The contractors presented the president with the plan of the future Clinical Centre and the layout of departments, clinics and services, and a new garage is under construction, which will have 625 seats.
The services currently located in the Emergency Centre, the existing Polyclinic, as well as the Emergency Medicine Service in the Emergency Centre with five operating rooms, an angiography service and two endoscopy rooms will move into the new, completed premises in phase one.
Also, there will be semi-intensive care with 594 beds, intensive care with 231 beds, outpatient polyclinic and day hospital, 21 operating rooms, as well as one hybrid room.
The entire Department of Diagnostics and the Department of Nuclear Medicine will move in, as well as the expanded laboratories and doctor's offices.
The building permit for the reconstruction and construction of the Clinical Centre of Serbia was obtained in 2016 for the first and second phase of construction.
The first phase of reconstruction and construction covers 86,000 square meters and is worth 69 million euros, while the second phase covers 46,500 square meters, and is worth approximately 43 million euros.
The works were also visited by the director of the Clinical Centre of Serbia Milika Asanin, Mayor of Belgrade Zoran Radojicic and Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic.
