Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic said today that upon completion of a four-year World Bank financed project, the Zrenjanin general hospital along with the hospitals in Kraljevo, Vranje and Valjevo will become models for general hospitals throughout Serbia.
During his visit to the Zrenjanin health centre, Milosavljevic said that within this project, a part of the hospital building in Zrenjanin will be reconstructed through a favourable $20 million loan.
A maternity hospital covering 1,500 square metres and valued at €873,000 will also be built. The construction of the hospital will be finished by October 2006, Milosavljevic concluded.
