EU Ambassadors approve launch of talks with Serbia-Montenegro

EU Ministers for Foreign Affairs approved today in Luxembourg the beginning of Serbia-Montenegro’s negotiations on a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union (SAA).
Serbia-Montenegro is therefore for the first time entering so-called contractual relations with the European Union, which is the first step towards EU membership.
