Kostunica honours FIBA Europe President with state medal

Serbian Prime Minister and President of the Organisational Committee of the 34th European Basketball Championship Vojislav Kostunica honoured today FIBA Europe President Jorgos Vasilokopoulos with the Medal of Nemanja of the First Degree, for fully supporting the state union of Serbia-Montenegro during its candidacy and selection to host the 2005 European Basketball Championship, as well as for the exceptional contribution to the development of European basketball.

The President of the state union of Serbia-Montenegro Svetozar Marovic passed a decree on honouring Jorgos Vasilokopoulos with the Medal of Nemanja of the First Degree.
