Head of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija Sanda Raskovic-Ivic told today Serbs from Laplje Selo in central Kosovo not to sell their houses and farms because Serbia will increase its presence in that area.

Visiting the municipality of Gracanica, Raskovic-Ivic said during the talks with citizens that the state will stand up for the Serb community in Kosovo in the upcoming process of decentralisation and will try to protect Serbian institutions wherever they are, it is said in a statement by the Coordinating Centre.
She also spoke about new organisation of the Coordinating Centre and its programme of activities, based on the Serbian government's Plan for the solution to the political situation in Kosovo-Metohija. All ministries of the government will take part in the Centre's activities.
The Head of the Coordinating Centre said that she sees Gracanica as a regional centre of central Kosovo.
