The Serbian parliament confirmed today mandates for new MPs, by which a new composition of the highest state legislative body has been officially constituted.

After the verification of mandates, the MPs took an oath.
The session, chaired by the eldest MP Smilja Tisma from the Socialist Party of Serbia, started with the playing of the national anthem.
The session was held at the Great Hall of the House of the Serbian parliament and due to the situation with coronavirus, all necessary epidemiological measures were taken.
The MPs, as well as media representatives, were required to wear masks and gloves and at the entrance to the building, everyone had their body temperature measured.
The Serbian parliament finished working for today, and MPs will be informed about the continuation of the session in due course.
The election of a new parliament leadership is on the agenda of this session i.e., the election of a new parliament speaker, deputy speaker, secretary and working bodies. Serbian MPs will discuss this in the coming days.
