The Serbian Privatisation Agency said that the tender commission for Indjija-based agribusiness Agrounija approved results of the tender on May 23 and accepted the tender list, with MK Commerce from Novi Sad as first ranked while the second ranked is a Belgrade-based consortium set up of Univerzal Holding, Mancoop Agrar and Soko Group.
The commission accepted MK Commerce’s offer to pay €2.5 million, provide an investment programme worth €5.09 million and minimum social programme.
The talks of MK Commerce and the Privatisation Agency on details from the sale agreement should be completed within 30 days, the agency said.
The Privatisation Agency also announced that the tender commission for the sale of 70 percent of Knjazevac-based fruit and vegetable processor Dzervin decided on May 25 to start talks with the only bidder, a consortium made up of marketing, industry and trading company Mangus from Knjazevac and Belgrade-based Kapok.
The Ministry of Economy will form a commission for direct negotiations with the only bidder.
