The decrees allow for the protection of forest habitats and the preservation of wild fauna, as well as of immovable cultural goods. Nature Park "Zlatibor" contains almost a third of the entire flora of Serbia, many of which are of national and international significance, whereas the highest volcanic complex in Serbia lies within the nature park "Radan".
The public company ‟Srbijasume” was proposed as a company to manage these protected areas.
The government passed the Decision on opening the consulates of the Republic of Serbia in Antalya, Turkey and in Perth, Australia. This decision is based on the need for expanding the network of honorary consuls of Serbia in these countries.
The opening of consulates would facilitate cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism and economy and it would enable the attraction of new investments.
The government also passed the Decision on the abolition of visas for entry into the Republic of Serbia for citizens of Indonesia. By this, the principle of reciprocity would be fully respected as visas for the citizens of Serbia for this country were abolished in 2016.
At today's session, the government passed the Conclusion on the adoption of the grant agreement from the Trust Fund of several donors for the development of statistical capacities III for the implementation of the Action Plan for opening data in Serbia, between the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Administration and the United Nations Development Programme "Open Data - Open Opportunities".
The opening of the data in Serbia would enable greater transparency and more efficient provision of public services, which would make it easier for the citizens to live everyday life, and to private sector it would facilitate doing business and the application of business ideas.
The opening of the data would also mean bringing Serbia closer to European administrative standards. The project started in August 2017, and it is envisaged to last until December 2019.
