The Serbian parliament started today the ninth special session whose agenda is the election of a new government.
On that occasion, Prime Minister-Designate and outgoing Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Ana Brnabic will present her keynote speech and proposal for the composition of the cabinet.
In addition to 161 MPs, the session is also being attended by representatives of top state bodies and the diplomatic corps.
The Proposal of the decision on the election of the government was submitted to the Serbian parliament yesterday, which envisages the new government to have four deputy prime ministers, 18 ministries and three ministers without portfolio.
The government is elected if voted for by the majority of the total number of MPs.
After the election, the Prime Minister and its members will take an oath before MPs, by which their terms in office begin.
The new government of Ana Brnabic will be the 15th Serbian government since 1990 when a multi-party system was introduced in Serbia.
