RIK releases final results of presidential election

The Serbian Election Commission (RIK) released late yesterday the final results of the presidential election, according to which candidate for President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic won in the first round of the election.

According to the final results, Vucic received 55.08 percent of the vote, i.e. 2,012,788 citizens voted for him.
Candidate Sasa Jankovic won 16.36 percent of the vote, Luka Maksimovic 9.43, Vuk Jeremic, 5.65 and Vojislav Seselj 4.48 percent.
Bosko Obradovic won the support of 2.29 percent of voters, Sasa Radulovic 1.41, Milan Stamatovic 1.15, Nenad Canak, 1.12, Aleksandar Popovic 1.04 and Miroslav Parovic 0.32 percent.
Nineteen members of the RIK voted for the report on the results, and nine were against.
