Djuric said at a press conference after meeting with political representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija that the Serbian government will propose annullation of this illegal decision, by which Pristina wants to legalise the seizure of Serbian property.
The Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija reminded that the government with a similar decision effectively protected state and national interests following an attempt to seize Pristina combine
Trepca.
He stated that the decision was made by Pristina on 1 March, with no consultation with the representatives of the Serbs, whereby the decision was shyly published two days ago on the website of the government of Kosovo.
That decision is a continuation of separatist aspirations of the Albanian representatives to legalise the seizure and to economically deprive the Serbs and Serbia, and thus complete eradication of the Serbs from the southern province and encircle the process of ethnic cleansing.
Djuric said he expects a clear international response to this criminal decision, with the same intensity as an attempt to respond to the decision on the formation of so-called rmy of Kosovo.
He said that this is a colossal robbery and extortion to which Serbia will never agree, and underlined that the Serbian government and representatives of Serbs from Kosovo will be united in this struggle.
This moves us away from the dialogue, normalisation of relations and peace and stability, to which Serbia aspires, he said.
Djuric explained that the decision of the provisional institutions of government in Pristina applies to 29% of the total land in Kosovo, or more than 1.2 million square metres of official buildings and about 145,000 square metres of office buildings.
Also, he said, the said decision applies to approximately 24,000 square metres of residential buildings, more than 4,000 square metres of buildings of special purposes, as well as approximately 753,000 square metres of various commercial properties.
This includes Trepca, Brezovica, Kosmetprevoz, Railways, EPS, surface mining plant Obilic, EMS Elektrokosmet, Ibar Zubin Potok, PTT, Srbijasume, NIS, Pristina Airport and the National park Sar Planina.
The Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija said that Serbia is the majority owner of 155 companies in the province, and announced that the aforementioned assets are worth more than $200 billion.
