New government of Serbia elected

The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia elected today in a special session the new Serbian government, with Aleksandar Vucic in the office of the Prime Minister and a total of 19 ministers, eight of whom are new ones compared to the previous makeup.

By roll call, out of 225 present deputies, 163 voted in favour of the new government, 62 were against while 24 were not present.
Ivica Dacic is First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Zorana Mihajlovic Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and Rasim Ljajic Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
Dusan Vujovic is Minister of Finance, Goran Knezevic Minister of Economy, Branislav Nedimovic Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection and Aleksandar Antic Minister of Mining and Energy.
Nela Kuburovic is new Minister of Justice, Ana Brnabic Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Mladen Sarcevic Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development and Vladan Vukosavljevic Minister of Culture and the Media.
Zoran Djordjevic remains Minister of Defence, Zlatibor Loncar Minister of Health, Aleksandar Vulin Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and Vanja Udovicic Minister of Youth and Sport.
Ministers without portfolio, in addition to Jadranka Joksimovic, who contines to be responsible for European integration, will be Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and Milan Krkobabic.
The mandate of the government began to run by oath-taking before the National Assembly, after which the Prime Minister and members of the government signed the text of the oath and delivered it to the National Assembly Speaker.
