Gojkovic re-elected parliament speaker

Members of the National Assembly appointed Maja Gojkovic of the list "Aleksandar Vucic – Serbia is winning" as the new parliament speaker, as well as six deputy speakers and Secretary General of the Assembly, which ended the constitutive session of the parliament.

A total of 233 deputies voted, Gojkovic’s re-election was supported by 159 MPs, 73 were against, with one abstention.
Gojkovic's re-election was backed by the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia, the Social Democratic Party of Serbia, New Serbia, United Serbia, the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians-Party for Democratic Action coalition and the Movement of Socialists-People's Peasant Party-United Peasant Party coalition.
Six vice chairs are Veroljub Arsic (Serbian Progressive Party), Vladimir Marinkovic (Social Democratic Party of Serbia), Konstantin Arsenovic (Party of United Pensioners of Serbia), Djordje Milicevic (Socialist Party of Serbia), Vjerica Rade (Serbian Radical Party) and Gordana Comic (Democratic Party).
The assembly appointed Svetislava Bulajic as its Secretary General.
