Cooperation of Serbian police, US law enforcement services in fight against terrorism

Belgrade, 27 Nov 2015 –Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic and US Ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby met to discuss improving cooperation between the Serbian police and US law enforcement services in the fight against terrorism, particularly in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November this year.
Stefanovic and Kirby expressed satisfaction about the Serbian Interior Ministry and US law enforcement agencies having good cooperation and the intention to further improve it.
The Minister and the Ambassador also touched on the current migrant crisis. Stefanovic and Kirby also talked about ways in which the United States can help the Serbian Interior Ministry to successfully respond to all security challenges arising from the migrant crisis.
