Observed by activities, in 2013 the section of manufacturing had the largest share in the creation of GDP – 16.1%, the section of wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 9.7%, the section of real estate activities – 8.7%, and the section of agriculture, forestry and fishing – 7.9%.
The use of GDP was structured in the way that household final consumption expenditure had the share of 74.4%, government final consumption expenditure – 17.8%, gross fixed capital formation – 17.2%, exports of goods and services – 41.2%, and imports of goods and services – 51.9%.
Compared to the previous year, the real GDP increased by 2.6%.
Observed by activities, in 2013 the real growth of Gross value added (GVA) was noted as follows: the section of manufacturing – 5.7%, the section of agriculture, forestry and fishing – 20.9%, the section of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – 13.0%, the section of transportation and storage – 7.6%.
The most expressive fall of GVA was recorded in the section of financial and insurance activities – 9.5%, and for the section of accommodation and food service activities – 8.1%.
Regarding the GDP use, real growth was noted for exports of goods and services – 21.3%, but gross fixed capital formation expressed a real fall of 12.0%.
The Serbian Statistical Office publishes the final results of annual estimation of Gross domestic product (GDP) for 2013 according to ESA 2010, by production and expenditure approach, at current and constant prices.
In order to comply with SNA 2008 and ESA 2010 international standards, the revised data series are available from 1995 onwards.
