Parliament adopts budget revision for 2014

The Serbian Parliament adopted last night the Law on amendments to the Law on the budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2014, which envisages a budget deficit of RSD 225 billion and the increase of expenditures from RSD 1,113 billion to RSD 1,122 billion.

The Parliament also passed the Law on temporary determination of bases of calculation and payment of salaries and other regular income of beneficiaries of public funds, the Law on temporary determination of the way of payment of pensions and amendments to the Law on the Central registry of mandatory social insurance.
188 MPs voted in favour of the budget revision and the accompanying laws, 10 were against and two were abstained out of the total of 200 MPs present at the session.
