British investors welcome in Serbia

Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic presented British Ambassador to Serbia Denis Keefe with key economic measures of the government of Serbia aimed at the recovery of Serbian economy and increasing economic growth.
Sertic indicated that economic development is the primary goal of the government of Serbia, noting that in this sense, the first results are expected after the adoption of the new laws on labour, privatisation and bankruptcy.
He pointed out that the new laws will further improve the business environment in Serbia.
The Minister said that British investors are welcome in Serbia because they will bring new technologies.
Keefe said that British investors are willing to invest in Serbia, and that many are inquiring about new areas of cooperation.
He emphasised possible cooperation in the film industry, noting that filmmakers see Serbia as a very desirable location for this industry, according to a statement by the Ministry of Economy.
