UAE to continue investing in Serbia

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic stated that Serbia will invest maximum efforts in attracting investments from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan promised that his country will continue investing in Serbia.

Serbia is ready to attract UAE investments with a number of projects and invest maximum efforts in launching its economy in cooperation with investors from the Emirates, Nikolic said.
He added that the traditional friendship between the two nations was forged at a time when Serbia's economic position was much better than it is now. By helping Serbia, its UAE friends are showing their gratitude through the investments, he noted.
Sheikh bin Zayed Al Nahyan underscored that he has a personal friendship with Nikolic and noted that a lot has been done in the restoration of the two nations' cooperation over a rather short period of time.
He said that he feels at home during his visits to Serbia, and added that UAE will continue investing in Serbia. UAE expects Serbia to prepare projects in various areas, such as agriculture, IT, pharmaceutical industry and similar, he said.
Sheikh bin Zayed Al Nahyan invited Nikolic to pay an official visit to UAE in November.
