Serbian parliament adopts Law on eliminating consequences of floods

The Serbian parliament adopted late today the Law on eliminating consequences of floods and this special law (lex specialis) which will be valid one year will apply in all the cities and municipalities that were damaged by the May floods in Serbia.

The law will become effective one day after it has been published in the Official Gazette, and will cease to be valid one year from that date.
The law regulates the tasks related to the elimination of consequences of floods and landslides in the areas hit by the May floods.
