Dejan Pavicevic
Djuric underlined that the denial of entry to Dejan Pavicevic, who was in a vehicle with diplomatic licence plates of the EU Mission at the moment of the incident, is a gross violation of the agreement made by Belgrade and Pristina, with the mediation of the EU.
He described as particularly worrying the fact that such actions of Pristina authorities, which go contrary to the obligations they assumed, without doubt obstruct the further progress of normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
A statement by the Office for Kosovo-Metohija says that Dejan Pavicevic was returned from the Merdare administrative crossing under the pretext that he did not have the necessary documents, although the papers he presented were fully valid under the Agreement on liaison officers.
In view of this, the explanation for banning the liaison officer from entering the province is a clear proof of obstruction of the Brussels agreement by the institutions of self-government in Pristina.
The Serbian government expects this situation to be resolved as soon as possible and requires a full respect for the obligations assumed by all actors who took part in the conclusion of the Brussels agreement, reads the statement.
