Donor conference for flood relief scheduled for 16 July

EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele said that a donor conference to raise funds for flood victims in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be held in Brussels on 16 July.

The EU and its member states feel solidarity with victims of recent extreme floods in southeastern Europe, Fuele said in a video link posted on the European Commission's website.
The Commissioner said that the EU will use all available instruments to help Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina recover from the consequence of the disaster.
Aside from the European Commission, the organisers of the donor conference include France and Slovenia.
