Result of local elections victory of Serbia's policy in Kosovo

The Office for Kosovo-Metohija announced today that, based on preliminary results of the second round of local elections in Kosovo-Metohija, the citizens' initiative “Srpska” won in nine municipalities with Serbian majority.
The statement says that the results of the second round of local elections represent the victory of the Republic of Serbia in Kosovo-Metohija, and that the Serbian people in the southern province trust Serbia.
Srpska’s convincing victory is a sound basis for the establishment of the Community of Serbian municipalities, which will enable Serbia to protect its national and state interests in Kosovo.
This victory makes every subsequent step much easier, and any solution that aims to protect Serbian national interests more certain, the statement adds.
