Zorana Mihajlovic and Srecko Milacic
After the signing ceremony in Kosovska Mitrovica, Mihajlovic underlined that this document will enable students of final years of this university to be hired not only in public companies, but also in institutions dealing with energy or environmental protection, and the teaching staff will have an opportunity to work on the existing projects and those that are in plan.
Addressing the students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Pristina, Mihajlovic stated that Serbia will never desist not only from settling the accounts regarding its property in Kosovo-Metohija, but also from its resources in the southern province.
Mihajlovic recalled that the strategic goal of Serbia, when it comes to the energy sector, is to use its position and become a transit route for electricity, oil and liquid petroleum gas, bearing in mind that this is a sure way to secure itself in terms of energy, politics and economy.
Kosovo-Metohija is rich in coal and this resource will surely be used in the period ahead of us, she underlined and concluded that energy security, by its relevance, is equal to political and national security.
