Vucic, who is in Gracanica today, urged Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija to be responsible towards their children and their future.
He told them to observe the state of Serbia and to vote in the elections as it is a prerequisite to receive international verification and confirmation of the existence of the Community of Serbian municipalities.
He told those present that they are the ones who should keep and preserve Serbia and the Serbian cause in Kosovo, and that without them everything that Serbia did would be worth absolutely nothing.
We cannot and we do not to make war, it is our job to ensure peace for our children in the future, said the First Deputy Prime Minister.
Vucic said that we are choosing between two options: the survival of the Serbian people on the one hand and a very uncertain future on the other.
He reiterated that for the Community of Serbian municipalities to be created, at least six municipalities are needed.
Vucic stressed that Serbs and Serbia do not want enemies anywhere.
We want to have good neighbours and friends, but also to have our flag that we are proud of, he added.
After 3 November, we should start thinking how to boost the economy so that our people in Kosovo could live better, said the First Deputy Prime Minister and added that the first time in many years Serbia recorded an industrial growth of 3.2%.
We want to see these signs of economic recovery in Kosovo too, he stressed.
Minister without Portfolio responsible for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin repeated his call to the Serbs to vote in local elections on 3 November.
Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selakovic urged Serbs from the southern province to go to the polls in large numbers, adding that 3 November is a unique opportunity to stop the departure and to enable the return of Serbs and the Serbian state to Kosovo, even more than it is the case today.
