It is a building which will have 12 flats measuring 50 square metres each and it should be completed by mid-December this year.
The flats are intended for the internally displaced and the underprivileged who can apply for flats at a competition that is yet to be announced.
Vulin said that the Office for Kosovo-Metohija has set aside more than RSD 29 million for the construction of this building and underlined that the Serbian government will not stop financing the life of Serbs in the province.
He stated that the survival of Serbia in the province depends solely on the local Serbs and that by financing the construction of these flats, the Serbian government wants to demonstrate that it stands by its people and that all actions are directed at the survival of the Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
President of the Kosovska Mitrovica District Radenko Nedeljkovic said that construction of the building in the Bosnjacka Mahala neighbourhood represents a continuation of the process of providing housing for internally displaced Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica.
