Boycott of local elections in Kosovo not in interest of Serbs

Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said late yesterday that a possible boycott of local elections in Kosovo-Metohija would not be in the interest of the Serbs living there.
In an interview to the Podgorica Television “Atlas”, Dacic said that the Serbs, if they go to the local elections in Kosovo-Metohija, will get their own authority in the municipalities in which they constitute a majority.
That would be the first time for that authority to obtain international verification of legality and legitimacy, the Prime Minister underlined and added that the Community of Serbian municipalities, which includes 10 out of 30 municipalities in Kosovo, may have a great influence.
