Local elections in Kosovo-Metohija of key importance

Minister without portfolio responsible for Kosovo- Metohija Aleksandar Vulin and Norwegian Ambassador to Serbia Nils Ragnar Kamsvag noted today that the upcoming local elections in Kosovo-Metohija are of crucial importance.

Vulin and Kamsvag expressed hope that interim institutions of authority in Pristina will do everything so that the Serbs in Kosovo and the IDPs could exert their right to go to the polls in the highest number possible and vote for their representatives.
The Minister informed the Norwegian ambassador about the latest agreements reached in the field of energy and telecommunications in dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels.
Kamsvag praised the fact that great and encouraging strides have been made in the last few years, which carried may challenges both for Belgrade and Pristina.
He stated that his country is ready to support this process through its programmes.
