Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin spoke today with Director of the Office of South-Central European Affairs of the US Department of State Jonathan Moore on the implementation of the agreement on normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
Moore expressed support for the Serbian government's efforts in Brussels agreement implementation and its further participation in the dialogue whose goal is improving the lives of the Serbs in Kosovo.
According to Moore, there are still a lot of details that need to be worked out in this process.
Vulin and Moore discussed the current developments in Kosovo-Metohija, exchanged opinions on challenges in the implementation of the agreement, and particularly focused on preparations for the holding of local elections in Kosovo on 3 November.
Vulin said that the Serbian government has successfully implemented the obligations it accepted through the Brussels agreement and pointed out that the highest-ranking state officials unanimously called on the Serbs in Kosovo and those displaced from Kosovo to go to the polls there and so take the resolution of their everyday life issues into their own hands.
