Investigation into murder of Serbian harvesters must be re-opened

Director of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin attended today in the Staro Gracko village in Kosovo-Metohija a memorial service for 14 Serbian harvesters who were killed in an ambush in a field in 1999.

After the memorial service, held by Bishop of the Diocese of Raska and Prizren Teodosije, Vulin requested that the investigation into the murder of Serbian harvesters be re-opened and warned that a crime that remains unpunished threatens to be repeated.
He requested from the international community to open again the investigation into this crime, to act in line with its mandate and take responsibility, and underlined that people cannot trust the international community as long as the perpetrators of this crime are not found.
