Drinks firm Rubin sold for €20.1 million

The Serbian Privatisation Agency said today that an agreement on the sale of 70 percent of socially owned capital of Krusevac-based drinks firm Rubin has been signed with Zemun-based Invej company.
According to the statement, the buyer will pay €20.1 million for the stake and invest about €11.4 million over five years.
The buyer also accepted all the requirements from Rubin’s social programme.
Other bidders in the tender, called on September 24 last year, were Slovenian Istrabenz and a consortium of Subotica-based Vinarija Coka and Kula-based Rodic MB.
Invej was declared the top bidder at the tender commission meeting on January 17.
