The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija has strongly condemned the arrest of two Gnjilane municipality employees who have been suspected of espionage.
The Office for Kosovo-Metohija has called on the international community to look into the case and get the two wrongly arrested Serbs released.
According to the Office’s press release, Gnjilane municipality employees Dalibor Djordjevic and Sasa Nikolic were arrested two days ago on suspicion that they were spying on a military facility.
The Office stated that Djordjevic and Nikolic took a photograph of a location several hundred metres away from the army barracks while they were preparing documents for the cleaning of the riverbed and the landfill.
We are warning that Serbs’ safety is again at risk and we are calling on the international community to look into the case and get the two wrongly arrested Serbs released, reads the release.
