Following the information on the sale of 70% stake in Telekom and PTT by the provisional institutions in Kosovo, the Office for Kosovo-Metohija announced that Telekom AD is a joint stock company with a majority share of the state capital of Serbia and other small shareholders, so the sale violates the rights of ownership of Serbia as well as private property rights of other shareholders.
The statement said that the sale of these companies, whose property include facilities owned by Telekom Serbia AD and PTT Srbija, was made by a non-owner without the consent, authorisation and participation of the real owner in the sale.
In this way, the buyers have been misled regarding the actual ownership structure of Telekom and PTT, as well as regarding the ownership of the buildings used by the companies.
The Office for Kosovo-Metohija said that it will inform the international public and all relevant stakeholders of the international community about the illegal usurpation of state and private property.
The Office warns the illegal bodies that they must not sell someone else's property because the responsible parties will bear serious legal consequences, according to a statement.
