Investigation into attack on "Nis Express" bus near Podujevo must be re-launched

The Office for Kosovo-Metohija has asked the EULEX to re-launch the investigation into the case of the attack on the bus of "Nis Express" in the village Livadice, near Podujevo, 12 years ago, when 12 Serbs were killed and 43 injured.

The statement reminds that on this day 12 years ago the explosion of a landmine placed under a bridge on the main road near Podujevo caused the bus to be blown into the air, when the displaced Serbs went to All Souls' Day in Gracanica, in an escort of KFOR.
In one of the worst crimes against Serbs since the arrival of international forces in Kosovo-Metohija, Nenad Stojanovic, Milinko Kragovic, Lazar Milkic, Dragan Vukotic Suncica Pejeic, Zivana Tokic, Slobodan Stojanovic, Mirjana Dragovic, Njegos Cokic, Snezana Cokic, Danilo Cokic and Veljko Stakic lost their lives.
We remind the international community that unpunished crimes create new ones, according to a statement by the Office for Kosovo-Metohija.
