The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija today condemned the beating up of boy of Serbian nationality Marko Stanojevic in Kosovska Kamenica and called on the international community to provide all children in Kosovo-Metohija the right to a normal life.
The pupil Marko Stanojevic was beaten up and seriously injured last night by a group of children of Albanian nationality in front of the “Desanka Maksimovic” primary school in Kosovska Kamenica, reads the statement by the Office for Kosovo-Metohija.
The Office underlined that in the last three weeks the attacks on Serbian children have become very common and all cases were reported to the Kosovo Police Service (KPS).
This is not the first attack in which Serbian children were beaten up and the Office calls on the international community to provide all children in Kosovo-Metohija the right to peaceful schooling and normal childhood and life, it is added in the statement.
