The Minister said in a public debate on the new concept of sustainable development of the state and reducing unemploymentthat one regional road will be in Vojvodina, and second one in the Morava region, adding that the road infrastructure is very important for attracting foreign investors.
The Minister said that other measures to encourage development in 2013 will be new aid programmes through the Development Fund, and noted that the entire line of soft loans will be distributed to those who in previous years increased the number of employees.
She invited the participants of the meeting that was held in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS), economists and experts, to assist in creating a national plan for regional development.
The Minister explained that the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Self-Government designed the document as a network of cross sectoral policies and development plans in certain territories.
PKS President Milos Bugarin said that Serbia needs a new policy that will contribute to long-term changes in economic structure and employment growth.
Bugarin pointed out that it is necessary to build a strategy for the inclusion of the domestic industry in large infrastructure projects and increase the capacity of local companies to participate in these projects, which will directly contribute to the growth of employment.
The public debate was organised by the PKS for the purpose of finding answers to the questions of export growth, economic recovery, growth in industrial production and employment increase.
