Adoption of budget crucial step towards fiscal consolidation

State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economy Vlajko Senic said today that the adoption of the Law on budget for 2013 represents a major step in the country's fiscal consolidation and the most important move of the Serbian government since its formation.
In a statement to news agency Beta, Senic noted that the adoption of the budget on 1 December is in full compliance with the budget calendar, and reiterated that this is a big step for fiscal consolidation of Serbia, which until a few months ago was on the brink of financial and fiscal bankruptcy.
