External trade from January to October $24,854m

The Statistics Office stated that overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January - October 2012 amounted to $24,848 million, which was a 4.5% decrease compared to the same period 2011.
The figure in euros is €19,359.2 million, which was a 4.5% increase compared to the same period 2011.
The value of exports amounted to $9,291.9 million, which was 5.6% decrease when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to $15,556.1 million, which was a 3.9% decrease relative to the same period last year.
Expressed in euros, the value of exports amounted to €7,244.3 million, which was the increase of 3.4%, compared to the same period last year. The value of imports amounted to €12,114.9 million, which was a 5.2% increase when compared to the same period last year.
The deficit amounted to $62,64.2 million, which was a decrease of 1.2% in relation to the same period last year. The deficit expressed in euros amounted to €4,870.6 million, which was an increase of 7.8% compared to the same period last year.
The export - import ratio equaled 59.7% and was lower if compared to the same period last year when it was 60.8%.
