The Serbian Statistical office stated that the average gross salary in September 2012 stood at RSD 55,903 which is down by 4.4% in nominal and 6.5% in real terms against August 2012.
The average net salary in September stood at RSD 40,258. Compared to August 2012, it was lower by 4.4% in nominal and 6.5% in real terms.
The average gross salary in September 2012, compared to September 2011, went up by 3.8% in nominal terms, but dropped by 5.9% in real terms.
The average take home salary in September 2012, compared to September 2011, was nominally up by 3.9%, and by 5.8% lower in real terms.
The average gross salary in the period January–September 2012 was by 8.9% higher in nominal and by 3.1% in real terms against the same period last year.
The average net salary in the same period increased by 9.0% in nominal and by 3.2% in real terms against the same period in 2011, the statement adds.
